Dr Khoo Kei Siong has extensive leadership experience in the healthcare industry. Dr Khoo currently holds the position of Deputy Chairman in the Medicine Advisory Committee of the Health Sciences Authority. Prior to this, he was serving as the Assistant Master-Administrative Affairs in the Council of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore (2015 to 2020). In his earlier roles, he has served as the Senior Consultant and Head of Department of Medical Oncology at the National Cancer Centre Singapore and the founding Director of the Division of Clinical Trials and Epidemiological Sciences.

Dr Khoo is a member of various prestigious bodies including the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the European Society of Medical Oncology and Royal College of Physicians (Edinburgh). He has also served as the President of the Singapore Society of Oncology.

Dr Khoo attained training in Internal Medicine Oncology at the Singapore General Hospital after his graduation from the National University of Singapore. Following which, he was awarded the Singapore Government HDMP fellowship in 1993 to embark on training and research in breast cancer at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre in New York.
